Tire Rama

Tire Rama damaged a rim on my truck. 2 months later they replaced it. PROBLEM is they put on an old used rim with rust on it. They scratched 2 other rims and said that is normal. I've never had that before. They are trying to blame me for spinning the tires! I'm 57 yrs. Old and don't drive around spinning tires on my new truck. I called the corporate office, but they are ignoring me.

TPMS broken by store technicians. They expected me to buy the new ones. Flat tire 4 months later on a hot day. 5 miles and a brand new tire has been destroyed. Not even a call back from the Regional manager. Assuming it's a scam to charge more..

So I am getting appointment reminders for my account at tireama when I have not made an appointment there since the spring. I believe that someone is using my name and my account to get their car serviced. I have called the store in my current town and in my hometown and they did not help me. I called the customer service line and they said they would transfer me to the IT department but then no one answered so I left a message. I have tried over and over to get this corrected and no one seems to want to be able to help.

I brought my truck in for service to get an alignment. I explained the issues I had with other tire companies and how parts were switched on me without discussing it with me first. I was told that I needed new Tierod ends, I setup the repair to have the truck dropped off Thursday night so they would have all of Friday and Saturday to get the job of replacing the parts, wheels balanced, rotated, and an alignment. I stopped in later in the day on Saturday to check on the progress, they were using a torch to try to break free a tirerod sleeve (one not being replaced). I was told they still needed to the end of the day. I then got a phone call later saying that they destroyed the parts by heating them (saying they were too rusted) and that I needed to pay for new ones. I explained to him that had he soaked the parts rather than going straight to the torch (which often does destroy parts) then there likely would not be damage. He then explained to me that it was my fault because I said I needed the truck back before Monday and that he would not have been able to soak them in that amount of time (even though they had the truck for 2 full days at that point) and so he went the route of fast and risky without discussing it with me. Had I gotten a phone call saying that they could not finish the alignment, I could have made a decision at that point to put it off or to make other arrangements for it to be done right, but rather I received a phone call saying they already destroyed them, my truck was not driveable, would not be ready Monday, and that I had to pay for their mistake. I was then given a guilt trip that they were calling me to "do the right thing" and that they were doing me a favor in waving the shop fees as long as I paid for the parts for what they messed up. I originally thought that I was dealing with some shop grunt due to an earlier conversation in which he didn't know what he was talking about (assured me that a loss of vacuum in a hub would cause 4WD to lock rather than release, which he later admitted to being wrong) and that maybe he was trying to cover up a mistake with his boss, but upon returning to pay and retrieve my truck, I found out that he's the manager! I can't believe that I got the call from him that I did. Yes, the parts were rusted, as likely most are. Yes there is a lot of rust on the bottom side of my truck. That part specifically did not look like it was at the point that it would not break free if the correct procedures were done. My truck was damaged by a rush job and he expected me to pay for it. Not happy about that. I called Monday morning, parts were coming from Seattle. They should have been overnighted on Saturday due to their screw up. Parts didn't come in till Tuesday afternoon (Seattle is 5 hours away....) I called Tuesday to find out when I should pick up my truck. I was told 3pm and asked to be called if that was going to change or be delayed. I got no phone call so I pulled my moped out of storage and rode it 45 minutes to their location (this moped doesn't do the road speeds) because I didn't have any other ride due to their delay in time table. I arrived at 3:30 but the truck was still in the air with the hood up. it wasn't until 4pm that I was able to finally drive away in my truck. I haven't looked under the truck yet, I'm almost afraid of what I'll find that he did....
